Fairy Houses

 

Did you know that one of Maine's favorite past-times is making fairy houses!

or better yet, support a local and purchase this wonderful coffee table book, that you see to your left, or at amazon.com, and ebay to name a few!  Remember, Local is always better!  More money in the local pool, less traffic, and less pollution.

 

Try when building to keep the house small. If it is too big, no fairy or gnome would want to live there, because it will be too obvious. A fairy house that sticks out will also attract trolls, and/or other predators, which hurt fairies and gnomes. Also, people who don't like fairies, called "Stompers", will stomp on a fairy house that is too big and obtrusive in the woods.

 

So get out in your dooryard and see if you can find a fairy, give him/her a helping hand and spruce up their home!
