Camden
Barrett's Cove Megunticook Lake
Route 52, Camden
Megunticook Lake is located at the base of the Camden Hills in Camden. At the eastern end of the lake, just three miles from the harbor and the ocean, is Barrett’s Cove Beach, a beautiful spot for swimming and picnicking that is rarely crowded. The beach has a designated swimming area and a shallow area for children. A diving platform floats offshore. This beach has no lifeguard. Adjacent to the beach, you'll find a grassy area with picnic tables and grills, and an outhouse nearby. Parking is free and close to the beach. A boat launch is located just around the cove, where you can set off by
kayak or boat to explore the lake

Ghosts @
According to legend back in the 1950's 5 young high school boys were murdered mysteriously at the school. No one knows who did it, and obviously no one was caught. Ever since, late at night when you're walking the track behind the school you'll see glimpses of lights going on and off and hear strange noises if your near the Greely High School, and you feel as though you are being watched. There are 2 graveyards which also have reported hauntings.
